How I learned to stop worrying about SCORM and love the Moodle Lesson Activity

The Moodle Lesson Activity is a truly amazing content creation tool. This fun presentation will show you how to build some amazing things with it from interactive presentations and quizzes to games.

Practical demonstrations/showcase will include:

  • An Interactive Course Presentation
  • A Choose Your Own Adventure Game
  • An Interactive Job Interview or similar
  • And some mini scenario based learning tools

(All activities will be released to the community and shared via et al)

We will also discuss some of the advanced settings such as timed activities, conditional access, and styling/templating and give practical examples of how these can be applied to everyday teaching activities on Moodle.

The concepts of branching and clustering will also be explained in a really simple and easy-to-understand manner.

The purpose of the presentation is to enthuse and inspire teachers, developers and course designers to start using the lesson activity more. You really can have fun with the lesson activity and so can your learners.
