Building distance learning programmes in Moodle: key areas for consideration

This presentation will look at the various aspects of designing and building online distance learning (ODL) programmes within Moodle.  It will consider the development, design and delivery of ODL programmes; ranging from the development of learning objects to the various ways in which students and staff can be supported and encouraged to interact with each other.    We will also explore and provide feedback on the benefits and pitfalls of delivering a distance learning through Moodle, as well as discussing experiences and challenges faced in developing new approaches to using Moodle within the university environment.
