Catalyst has started using more Continuous Delivery tools, especially for Moodle and we'd like to share our experiences.
This talk will look at some of the cool things that can be done with Continuous Delivery on with Moodle and related systems.
This presentation will include:
- Why we had to start using Continuous Delivery
- What tools we have used
- A case study concerning how Continuous Delivery has helped us manage the dearth of sites - and how this could help an an institution struggling with too many different systems to keep up to date and deploy.
- A case study concerning how Continuous Delivery has helped us manage testing between different systems to check inter-operation - In this case a Moodle, a Mahara and a custom system
- How this has benefited both the development and the operations people
- The downsides to CD
- Some unexpected benefits
